2. What are tides and waves? The winds cause waves on the surface of the ocean (and on lakes). The wind transfers some of its energy to the water, through friction between the air molecules and the water molecules.
3. What tides or waves affect the Petitcodiac? The Tidal Bore.
4. How do the tides and waves affect the Petitcodiac? The waves/tides affect the Petitcodiac by washing out the silt.
5. What is erosion? Erosion is the movement of water changing the earth.
6. How does it happen? Movement from the waves/tides
7. How does it affect the Peticodiac? It affects it by making it break down and possibly start wrecking the nearest buildings.
8. What is deposition? Mud.
9. What causes it? The flow of water.

13.How can the ecosystem be protected? No littering (No more putting in plastic bags or sewage)

15.What are the issues people are concerned about? The amount of sewage and waste people are putting in the Petitcodiac and people throwing in food.
16.What is your opinion and why? I think its horrible for the ecosystem and for the Petitcodiac. It’s bad enough that people are throwing in food and things like that. The fact that there are still people dumping sewage and waste into it is disgusting and there needs to be a change.
